This antique wooden abacus is from my mother's estate. This abacus is 23" long and around 5.25" in height with 27 rows, w/ 7 beads in each row (2 "heavenly" 5 "earthly") for a total of 189 beads. It also has 25 Japanese characters that look to be painted on and is constructed with wooden joints and a few very old (non-modern)nails on the back.
