This sale is for a Chinese Yun Brocade, Emperor Tribute Design - Beautiful. Framed in a very elegant wood frame, complete with certificate of authenticity. From the certificate: “Yun (means “clouds”) Brocade, a specially-woven fabric for the imperial use, was created in the Yuan Dynasty and flourished in Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty. It is often compared to the beautiful clouds, so it has the name of “Yun Brocade”. Since 13th century, every Emperors of different dynasties ordered that the Yun Brocade be the tribute. This is a beautiful decorative wall hanging. The inside art measures approx. 6.25” x 6.25”. The entire frame is approx. 10” x 10”.
