The Ottertex™ polyester ripstop fabric is a durable and synthetic fabric that is perfect for all types of indoor and outdoor use. This fabric is 200 denier, 100% polyester and 59/61” inches wide. It is a medium-weight fabric that is very malleable, allowing for a great deal of adaptability superior quality and hold against all types of damage and tear. This fabric is also coated with PU (Polyurethane) which allows for the ripstop to be waterproof completely waterproof through a seam sealing process. Additionally, because it is a polyester, it naturally dries quicker oppose to the nylon dwr, as polyester fibers do not absorb water and has a more distinct feel and hold, making the fabric heavier and gives it more structure. The polyester ripstop fabric can be used for kites, flags, banners, camping equipment, tents, hammocks, pants, sleeping bags, windbreakers and more.
