Vintage Chinese cork carving diorama depicting Zhenjiang Jinshan Temple with pavilions, trees, mountains, and water rendered in delicate layered cork relief with blue painted landscape accents. Inscription at top reads 鎮江金山寺, referring to Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang, China. Presented in a decorative frame measuring about 23 x 11 inches. Good visual display piece with age wear, dust/toning, frame scuffs, and some small losses or loose cork elements visible. The wood backing panel is loose/not attached in the back and will need to be secured. Displays well as an Asian decorative landscape piece.
